[It's around midday by the time Celebrian fiddles with her locket, stopping to let the horses drink before they go on. Her hair is braided and pinned around her head like her mothers and she wears the riding clothes Elrond had gotten her with a sword and knife at her belt.]
I departed this morning, bennig. And, as promised, mother travels with me so you need not worry. [Much.] I love you, Elrond, and miss you more each day.
[They've stopped and the horses are resting. She's sitting in the grass and against a tree when the locket starts recording her, staring up between the branches and leaves at the sky.]
I hope you are well. I think I have found that I miss you most at night.
